INVITATION TO TENDER

Applications to tender are being invited for the following project:

Scope of Works:

The works consist of the retrofitting of forty foot metal containers by installing windows, doors, timber partitions, timber flooring and roofing and sanitary fixtures with appropriate plumbing and electrical works.

Tenderers must be registered with the National Contracts Commission in the categories of Building Maintenance – Grade 4 or Building Construction - Grade 4 or above.  Tender documents may be issued to contractors not currently registered with the National Contracts Commission in an appropriate grade but in order to have their tenders considered valid, contractors must be appropriately registered with the National Contracts Commission before the date and time for the return of tenders.

Tenderers may pick up the tender documents as of Friday, July 20, 2007 from:

on the payment of a non-refundable sum of $1,500.00 for the project document.

Tenders should include a valid Tax Compliance Certificate and a Certificate of Registration (or proof of application for renewal of the Certificate of Registration inclusive of copy of the receipt) in an appropriate Category and Grade issued by the National Contracts Commission. These documents must be submitted as outlined in the Instructions to Tenderers. Tenders not including a valid Tax Compliance Certificate or a Certificate of Registration in the appropriate Category issued by the National Contracts Commission will be regarded as non-compliant and will be rejected.
