Corporate Profile - Dr Damian Graham
Dr. Damian St. Jude Graham, DBA, MPhil, BSc, PE General Manager of the Urban Development Corporation,
Dr. Graham comes to the UDC from JP Tropical Foods Limited, where he served as General Manager of the Fresh Division. Prior to that, he held several key management positions at Red Stripe Diageo Limited, where he was instrumental in coordinating and implementing business management and best operating practices and procedures, to enhance productivity and business performance.
As a strong and proven leader, strategist, change-agent and results oriented professional, Dr. Graham will lead the UDC in its charge to: redevelop specific areas in downtown Kingston, including the waterfront through the construction of various edifices and advance the development of Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. In addition, he will focus on the continued development of other townships, geared towards spurring growth for Jamaica and its people.
The development of National Heroes Park, to include the Parliament building and complemented by a “Government Circle” on lands surrounding the Park, will be one of his priorities. Dr Graham will also champion the mandate given by Prime Minister Andrew Holness, for the creation of and the appropriate location of Jamaica’s ‘third city’.
Dr. Graham possesses a Doctorate in Business Administration in Global Operations and Supply Chain Management from Capella University, Minnesota, USA, Master of Philosophy Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, where he previously obtained the BSc in Industrial Engineering. His professional specialized training includes: contracts negotiation, risk management and aspects of leadership, geared towards team building. He is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, The Jamaica Institution of Engineers, the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago and the Institute of Chartered Health and Environmental Professionals.
