REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST SALE OF PART OF SUCCESS ESTATE, MONTEGO BAY
The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) the major urban development agency of the Government of Jamaica, is the owner of the proposed site in Montego Bay, St. James (Part of Success Estate now known as Northern Estates) and invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from prospective investors for the Acquisition and Development (in line with the local planning authority’s regulations) to facilitate a resort development.
The property comprises five (5) sections namely –20, 21, 22 and part of 18 and 29. It is located on the northern and southern sides of the North Coast Highway (Montego Bay to Falmouth main road), east and south east of the Sea Castles Resort development.
Registered by survey as Lands Part of Success Estate, these lots contain a total area of 37.81 hectares (93.44 acres). Sections numbered 18, 20, 21, 22 and 29 together are irregular in shape, generally below the level of the highway and have a gradual downward slope to its northern boundary where it is above the level of the coastline.
Interested purchasers are requested to submit a written EOI outlining their principals and brief overview of development plan by Friday, 9th March 2018 at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) in hardcopy format, in a sealed envelope, clearly marked and addressed as follows:

Interested parties who have submitted EOIs will be asked to participate in a prequalification process and will be provided with a pre-qualification document. All prequalified potential investors will be invited to participate in a public tender bidding process.
