The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) wishes to advise that the Downtown Kingston Transport Centre located at Water Lane will operate with a new schedule effective Saturday November 1, 2014.
The Centre will now open to the public Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00pm and will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
The UDC appreciates the cooperation of patrons and apologizes for any inconvenience which may arise from the new operating schedule.
The Urban Development Corporation, operators and owners of Dunn’s River Falls and Park (DRFP), is inviting proposals for the construction, operation and maintenance of diversified entertainment offerings at the Park. This is part of the Corporation’s programme for the continued development of the DRFP.
The Corporation advises that these new features or activities must be complementary to the existing facilities and offerings of the Park and should enhance the Dunn’s River experience.
The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) has signed an agreement valued at J$385 million for the sale of the Oceana Hotel to King Church Property Holdings Ltd which represents a consortium with noted Canadian developers, Downing Street Realty Partners together with Jamaica Property Company Ltd, the latter being a member of the Pan Jamaica Group Of Companies. The function was held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the UDC’s 7th floor Conference Room at 12 Ocean Boulevard.
