PROCUREMENT OF WORKS RENOVATION OF RESTROOMS AT THE JAMAICA CONFERENCE CENTRE

The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) invites suitably qualified companies to submit bids for the Renovation of Restrooms at the Jamaica Conference Center, 14-20 Port Royal Street, Kingston.

Scope of Works:
The scope of works is as defined in the Bidding Document.

Eligibility Criteria:
Bidders will be required to submit with their bids with the following:
- Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) and Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Registration Certificate (formerly NCC) in the categories of Building Construction or Interior Construction Works; Grade 1

Bid Security – The amount of the bid security shall be JA $1,000,000.00

Bids submitted without a valid TCC and PPC Certificates will be automatically rejected.

Collection of Bidding Documents
Bidding documents will be available as of Monday, November 23, 2020 and can be collected Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 4:00p.m., from:

Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Department
7th Floor, Urban Development Corporation
12 Ocean Boulevard
Kingston

A non-refundable payment of J$7,500 in cash or Manager’s Cheque, payable to the Urban Development Corporation, will be required when collecting the bid document.

Bids must be deposited by Thursday January 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the tender box located at:

Urban Development Corporation
Information Centre, Ground Floor, 12 Ocean Boulevard
Kingston

Bid opening will be at 2:15 p.m. on the same day of the closing on the Ground Floor at the UDC Office. Bids submitted after this time and date will be automatically rejected and disqualified.

Failure to purchase the Bid Documents from the UDC will result in the ineligibility/ non-responsiveness of that bid from participation in the procurement process.

The Urban Development Corporation reserves the right not to accept the lowest, or any other bid or to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to the award of contract without incurring any liability.
