PROVISION OF JANITORIAL SERVICES AT HARMONY BEACH PARK, MONTEGO BAY, ST. JAMES
The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) invites suitably qualified companies to submit bids for the provision of janitorial services at Harmony Beach Park, Montego Bay, St. James, for a period of two (2) years, with the possibility of a one (1) year extension, to a maximum of three (3) years.
Scope of Services:
The scope of services is as defined in the Bidding Document.
Firms are required to submit:
- A valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) / Tax Compliance Letter
- A valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Registration Certificate in the Goods and Services Category of Janitorial, Sanitation Services
- A copy of Certificate of Registration
Proposals submitted without a valid TCC and PPC will be automatically rejected.
Collection of Bidding Documents:
This is an online Tender, where bidding documents and bids will only be made available and accepted via the electronic Government Procurement Portal (www.gojep.gov.jm).
Bidding documents will be made available, for download, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.
Site Visit/Pre-Bid Conference
A site visit will be held as part of the Pre-bid Conference. The date, time and location for the Site Visit/Pre-bid Conference are as follows:

Time: 11:00 a.m.
Location: Harmony Beach Park, Montego Bay St. James
Bidders attending the Pre-Bid Meeting must notify the Director – Strategic Sourcing & Procurement by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), no later than 12:00 p. m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 of the name and phone numbers of the individual who will attend.
Please note all COVID-19 protocols will be observed during the Site Visit/Pre-Bid Meeting and as such each firm will be limited to one (1) representative. The representative must wear a mask and walk with hand sanitizer for personal use during the meeting.
Clarification and Queries:
The UDC will respond to any request for clarification received before Thursday, August 5, 2021.
No offline (hard copies) will be accepted and there will be no physical tender box for drop-off of bids.
The deadline for submission of bids shall be Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. The time displayed on the e-GP System will be used as the bid submission time.
Bids submitted after this time and date will be automatically rejected by the system.

The Urban Development Corporation reserves the right not to accept the lowest, or any other tender or to annul the tender process and reject all tenders at any time prior to the award without incurring any liability.
