Provision of Private Security Services,

PROVISION OF PRIVATE SECURITY SERVICES FOR UDC’s OPERATED PROPERTIES

ITB Reference: ITB.2021.01/Private Security Services

Urban Development Corporation (UDC) invites bids for the Provision of Private Security Services, for a period of two (2) years, with the possibility of an extension to a maximum of three (3) years.

Scope of Services

The Provision of Private Security Services at UDC’s Operated Properties in St. Ann, St. James, Kingston and St. Catherine.

Mandatory Eligibility Requirements

Bidders will be required to submit with their bids the following:

• Valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Certificate in the category of Safety and Security Services;
• Certificate of registration/incorporation
• Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) / Tax Compliance Letter (TCL)
• Valid License/Certification with the Private Security Regulation Authority (PSRA)
• Proof of Public Liability Insurance coverage
• Signed and stamped Audited or Certified Financial Statements for the last three (3) financial years of the company
• Minimum three (3) completed Client Assessment/Referral Form
• Original Bid Security of J$2,000,000.00.

Bids submitted without the above mandatory documents will be automatically rejected.

Collection of Bidding Documents

Bidding documents will be available as of Tuesday, February 16, 2021 and can be collected Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., from:

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Department
7th Floor, Urban Development Corporation
12 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston

A non-refundable payment of J$5,000.00 in cash or Manager’s Cheque, payable to the Urban Development Corporation, will be required when collecting the bidding document.

Failure to purchase a Bid Document from the UDC will result in the ineligibility / non-responsiveness of that bid from participation in the procurement process.

Bid Submission

Bids must be deposited by Monday March 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Tender Box labelled ITB Reference: ITB.2021.01/Private Security Services located at: -

Ground Floor, Urban Development Corporation
12 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston

Bid opening commences at 10:15 a.m. on the same day of the closing, on the Ground Floor of the UDC Head Office. Bids submitted after this time and date will automatically be disqualified.

The Urban Development Corporation reserves the right not to accept the lowest, or any other tender or to annul the tender process and reject all tenders at any time prior to the award without incurring any liability.
