Competition to be managed by the UDC and marks milestone achievement in its 50th year

I write in response to your letter addressed to the Prime Minister of Jamaica, dated Tuesday April 24, 2018 regarding the proposed plans for the National Heroes Park.
The Dunn’s River Falls and Park (DRFP) attraction located in Ocho Rios St. Ann will adjust its rates for customers come May 25, 2018. Pre-booked rates for groups of 1000 persons or more will remain in place until April 2019.
Customers can be assured of multiple recreational experiences on entry having the opportunity to explore the triple-garden haven of Central Gardens, equipped with waterslide and splash pad or lounge at the beach. A zip line service has also been recently added at an additional cost as part of the attraction’s ongoing product development.

Government Campus Project
The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) invites suitably qualied consultants to submit proposals for the establishment and operation of a Programme Management Office (PMO) for the Government Campus at National Heroes Park in Jamaica under a Public Private Partnership (PPP).
Dunn’s River Falls and Park (DRFP), was on March 27, 2018 named one of six Caribbean nominees in the ‘Caribbean’s Leading Adventure Tourist Attraction’ Category of the prestigious Word Travel Awards. The St. Ann Development Company (SADCO) - a subsidiary of the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) -managed attraction, was voted most popular and exciting attraction by cruise officials during 2004 and Leading Caribbean Tourist Excursion by the World Travel Awards in November 2009 and 2010 and will once again compete for the coveted prize.
