UDC Offices and Attractions Adjusted Operations

Head Office to Close March 4 and 5, Attractions Remain Open with Strict Limitations

The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) wishes to advise that our Head Office, located at the Office Centre Building in downtown Kingston, will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, March 4, 2021 and Friday, March 5, 2021. The UDC Head Office is scheduled to re-open for business on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.

The commercial offices of the UDC and its subsidiaries, St. Ann Development Company, Runaway Bay Water Company, Ocho Rios Commercial Centre, and Caymanas Development Company, advise that they will be operating at a reduced capacity and with a limited in-office staff complement until Monday, March 22, 2021, in keeping with the most recent increased Government of Jamaica (GOJ) restrictions to address the current spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Further, we wish to advise the public that UDC managed attractions will remain open for business between the hours of 8:30a.m. and 4:00p.m. with reduced guest capacities and strictly enforced COVID-19 protocols in keeping with the GOJ guidelines.

UDC managed attractions which remain open are:

  • Dunn’s River Falls & Park, Turtle River Park, Green Grotto Caves & Attractions, Pearly Beach (reservation only) in St. Ann
  • Reach Falls, Portland
  • Walter Fletcher Beach, St. James
  • Long Bay Beach Park, Westmoreland

The UDC appreciates the patience and understanding of all our guests, tenants, and other clients as we continue the work of making development happen while consciously managing the safety of our staff, clients and guests.
